If MB is the "eyesore" of the state, then why is it the fastest growing section in population?
Don't go to Mrytle Beach. It is the eye sore of South Carolina.

Ocean Creek is good family resort. Up north so you miss a lot of the congestion of MB. Plenty to do in that area.My preference is somewhere away from MB proper.....Surfside..Garden City,
Litchfield to the south....Cherry Grove to the north...not sure what you're looking for..but those are the places i would go......basically anywhere north or south of MB proper
I stayed in the Ocean Forest in college when I was broke....ocean in the daytime and the forest at night.Check out the Ocean Forest Hotel.

Myrtle Beach is a beautiful place, best beaches on the east coast.
I heard Stevie Wonder say the same thing. LolMyrtle Beach is a beautiful place, best beaches on the east coast.
If you have little kids, 5-10, Dunes village is tough to beat with their indoor water park.
