Hope you are correctWife and I haven't gotten a refund for quite a few years, but we do receive direct deposit for Social Sec. I guess it'll show up in the account fairly soon.
Same. Immediately moved it to another account so I won't spend it.Direct deposit, already in the bank.

Yeah same here. Once I gave them what they wanted (SSN, address, AGI on 2019 return, direct deposit info) it was happy.I've been getting I'm the error message. Always have to write them a painful check every year so they don't have my direct deposit info.
Good point.I prefer to spend locally. Pretty much everything is closed.
Most restaurants are open for take out, gas stations, pharmacies, grocery stores, Walmart, Lowe's, Home Depot and probably more that I'm missing.I prefer to spend locally. Pretty much everything is closed.

Yep! I am on SSN starting this year and my wife has been on SSN for several years. However, I made too much in 2018 and 2019 so I assume I am getting nothing or prorated.
The businesses you named aren't local. I have gotten take out from a couple of local restaurants but luckily I still have a job so I don't need stimulus money to patronize them. Once things open up a bit more I will probably hire a local contractor to help with some projects. Not comfortable doing that right now. Most restaurants are open for take out, gas stations, pharmacies, grocery stores, Walmart, Lowe's, Home Depot and probably more that I'm missing.

As I went thru the "registration", it gave me a screen to enter the info.Do you recall where you were able to submit your direct deposit info?
No 2018 OR 2019 qualifies youyou have to file both returns to qualify
We're talking about the government, they need more information from you so they can take their time putting money into your account...
My sister in-law on SS got the same message. The IRS had her as deceased. To the best of my knowledge, she is still trying to fix it.anyone get this when checking on your stimulus payment?
