I think recruiting rankings (besides like top 5) are going to be less important as long as transfer portals are the way they are. Prunty and Staram (so?) are easily like signing high four stars but go uncounted

so....mediocre then? 6,7 ...maybe 8 wins once in a while?
As it happens, we play in the SEC....where you're almost guaranteed to lose at least 1 game per year in conference unless you're a run away national champion contender. I think this is the great divide between our Fans.... those who want 6,7 wins and those who want 9 annually.

Its really tough in the SEC. Those other legacy programs out there, such as Florida, LSU, Georgia, Auburn, Alabama, all just KNOW they must always be better than South Carolina and take steps every year to do just that. They won't allow the likes of SC, Ole Miss, UK, etc to wiggle their way into their ranks. It is just damn tough.

Third place in the division averages like 8.5 wins. Sometimes ten sometimes seven mostly 8-9.

please explain how that is 6-7 wins.
