It's a very good question. There are three parts to this recruiting process now and you better be good at all three, recruiting high school players, recruiting the portal, and retaining your starters and depth pieces. Also, player development is a must at a middle-tier school. Now if a kid sees the writing on the wall as per playing time or is just plain old unhappy or gets an offer from another school that he can't turn down, there's not much we can do about that. Lot's of factors involved.
Nothing I can do about it. I could troll and bitch at others about it but that would be juvenile.
