What he says and what the actual truth is, are often two different things. This is just one of the more serious examples relating to domestic violence. Yes fittnews isn't reliable, but what they reported in this article is public knowledge and fact. The other examples of him just lieing are comments he makes about "Kyle Parker being the next Fran Tarkenton, our DE this year is even better than Beasley." And so on and so on.

Yeah, he would have you believe he has a guy better than Beasley either on the bench or redshirted. You don't RS guys like that because they'll leave after 3.

That makes the head coach challenge 5-1. Even with clemsux winning the national championship in recruiting. Which is why dumbo is still a lying dumba$$ loser.

Dabo will do anything and say anything to get a recruit. Kisses ass and promises the world. Our guy is old school and thinks recruits should consider it an honor to have a chance to play for him.

Yeah well as "honorable" that may be, Clemson is out recruiting USC. Football has evolved and you can't just sit around and wait for guys, you have to show them interest. Most of our guys we recruited (whether commited or not) have said Clemson was in the top of the list through the whole recruiting process since they were the first school to show interest in them. Sitting back won't gain as many players, or as many high quality players. Look don't get me wrong, USC has done some major recruiting but it's the way you go about recruiting that gains the players.

I'm not obsessed. he's the topic of the thread. And he's 5-1 (as I mentioned) since dumbo's been a head coach.

Dabo got Feaster (sp?), beast of a running back and maybe the best in the country, to ccommit without even considering our program or our hall of fame coach.

I hate what Dabo is, but the bottom line is he gets it done with recruiting and as he out recruits us consistently you'll see Clemson take back control of the rivalry. Better players will eventually be more than we can overcome.

Spurrier has a great football mind, but the kids today don't even remember his run at Florida which is what he sold recruits on when he got here. Sad to say but he's not in touch with recruits like he needs to be.

That's what the taters do when they have no response. They come over to their rivals board and completely change the subject of the thread or call you obsessed. Pointing out that there coach lies all of the time isn't something the media up in dem hills ever points out. They've never heard anything negative about him before. It's a real culture shock to find out they're actually other people in the world besides "the family."

I'll say this about Clemson recruiting, not so sure they outwork our staff but they out brag and hype us. Sweeney makes outlandish statements about greatness or being one of the nation's elite programs for example. Talks about family atmosphere as though it only exists at Clemson but the biggest factor in their recruiting success has been the ability to win 10 or more games in a weak basketball conference, doesn't matter who you beat, just win. Make no mistake, Clemson and FSU'S days are numbered as new blood enters the ACC while the old members are getting stronger.

Has he ever said he has someone better than Beasley on the bench? I follow both programs closely, and never heard him say that.

Now, I did hear him say that the qb rush would come from Shack Lawson, and he may have said some parts of Lawson's game were better than Beasley's (such as run defense). I agree with him on that.
In fact, I expect little dropoff from Beasley to Lawson, based on what I've seen. Lawson could very well be a future first rounder.

I think someone is missing something here.
I watch pretty much every single play of both teams, repeatedly. Pharaoh Cooper is a potential first rounder, based on what I see. Lawson is Beasley's backup, so I don't see him quite as much, but make no mistake, he's dominant at that position. He's strong, has a very quick first step, and great technique. When he's in, I see little or no drop off, and he'll be another year bigger/ stronger. So yes, potential first rounder is reasonable.

Where did I ever say that I see no drop off? For that matter, I think you would have a difficult time showing any Clemson fan that thinks there won't be a drop in the defense.
I think the averahe Clemson fan expects the D to fall from #1 to maybe 20 or 30. If it were not for the fact that last year's defense was very deep, they would expect even more of a fall on that side.
The hope is that Watson stays healthy, of course. Probably no other team in America has two 1000 yard wide receivers on the team and two 5 star freshmen coming in to support them. Possibly the nation's be qb and the nation's best WR corps on the same team.

And as for the losses on the team, of the projected 22 starters, 20 have actually been starters for at least one game, so experience is not as bad as many believe.

Actually, while you acuse Dabo of inconsistency, the article brings up the fact that the incident happened, and actions were already ongoing, before Dabo took the job. Pretty clear he had nothing to do with that.
From what I've seen, Dabo is as good as any coach in America at dealing with misconduct.
No evidence on the Beasley statement, either.
If you're going to attack a rival, at least have SOME evidence to back up the attacks, ya know?
Dabos history of dealing with misconduct is as good as any coach in America.
If you want to hit someone up on that, look at Les Miles or Jimbo Fisher. Both are horrible.

Did you only read half of the article. It's very clear that a player beat a woman with a towel rod and wasn't kicked off of the team while he was the head coach. He suspended him multiple times. If you say you have zero tolerance and you don't. That's a lie. Joe Craig is his name. HE WAS THE HEAD COACH WHEN THIS HAPPENED. Again, he's a liar and this proves it.

You're only picking and choosing what you want to respond to and then spinning it. If I say I'm a potential first rounder, then yeah that's technically true. Until it's proven not to be the case. Everyone is potentially anything they want to be. I could potentially fly to the moon next month and take a shit on a picture of Dabdumb.

Do you count the way dumbo handled sammy's arrest as a leader in dealing with misconduct? In case you've forgotten or you dont want to look it up, it took dumbo 3 months to decide watkin's punishment. All the while, sammy was never suspended from the team (after an arrest), never missed one practice or one team activity. he still talked with recruits and visitors and was a representative of clemsux U. About 90 days later, dumbo finally announced sammy would miss 2 games. So he didn't play for 120 minutes, but he had full team privileges because he was never suspended from the team, ever. just suspended from 2 games. There's a difference.
 
S.Car punishment: You have to sit for Spring practice.
Clemson: You have to sit for two games.

It is truly bizarre to me that you believe that missing games is a lighter punishment and continue to post that belief.

I must say as a fan, I would have been happier if Sammy had been held out of practice and not missed any games. But I would not dream of calling that a stiffer punishment.

To each his own I guess...

Man, he suspended him for the Georgia game, one of the biggest of the year. Not like when Garcia was suspended for a half against ECU. You guys kill me with all the hate for Swinney. I think Spurrier is an ass but I don't pick on every word he says or hate him. But, I guess if Duke had more 4 star commits than all of my teams commits combined I'd be lashing out at the guy landing another great class.

dumbo only held him out for 2 games because he didnt have a choice. he took 3 months to figure a way out, but he couldnt. there was the cop cam and it involved drugs. So he didnt have much of a choice but to sit him. As for suspending him from the team, he didn't do anything. full privileges.

it's amazing to me that clemsux fans dont see anything wrong with a player being arrested and never suspended from the team or miss one practice. That's just sammy's case.

not to mention the towel rod guy & the guy who threw his gf down the stairs & choked her.

ya'll want to act like dumbo's some great disciplinarian, but he's not. he's as fake as they come.

Haha. dumbo's a jerk and two faced. Garcia was kicked off the team, mid season, so there's that. And I'm real upset about duke and their recruiting. uncle, uncle..clemsux wins the national championship in recruiting!!!! It's a good thing for y'all that dumbo is a fast talking used car salesman. Otherwise, you wouldn't be able to talk non-stop about recruiting. Let's see how that works on the field.
