I have never been around a young man like Sam. I would text him on Friday mornings to meet me at the school to help pass out jerseys. If guys couldn't make it in, he'd literally throw 6, 7 or however many over his shoulder and walk around school all day until every guy had his jersey. No task was beneath him. He would be the middle guy when Grier was pissed off at another player and would be the intermediary. he would then pull the player aside and lift them up. He just loved to play football and go fishing. He was the most positive player on the field at all times. I do miss Ms. Lisa and Dr. Hartmann. While they sold their house here, they recently purchased another property and will be building soon.
