I saw an animated matchup once. It was a 100 yard dash. A world class sprinter took off, 30 yards into his run a racehorse took off. When the sprinter was 60 yards in, the cheetah was cut loose. Who won? Giving the two a big head start in a short race, the cheetah smoked them both. Did anybody ever see that? And a gazelle can outrun a cheetah. That’s why the cheetah has to hide in the grass and sneak up for the surprise. There is no way a lion can run with a gazelle. No way. Unless the gazelle steps in a hole or trips on something. Then it’s meal time.
