South Carolina senior guard Tiffany Mitchell underwent successful foot surgery, the school announced Thursday.
Mitchell had a small surgical procedure early last week to address a stress-related injury to her left foot.
Dr. Jeffrey Guy, USC Athletics medical director, will re-evaluate Mitchell over the next several weeks as she begins her rehabilitation. The foot injury is not expected to delay her return for the 2015-16 season.
