Carter needs to be starting and playing a lot of minutes. He is the future of this team.

Yep. I want to be excited but the reality is this team would need to win all the remaining regular season games and two in the tournament just to play their way on to the bubble…and we all know that isn’t happening. Right now we would be lucky to make the NIT.
I do like Leveque and Carter for next year. The problem is can we put anything around them. If we choose to name a new coach, I could see one or both bolting as well.
Originally Coach Martin only signed two players for 2022-2023 recruiting class due to knowing that James Reese V and A.J Wilson will not be back next season. He is giving this year seniors a chance to come back next season if they want to. Recently South Carolina has accepted the commitment of Bryce Lindsay which I think it means that one of the eligible seniors or someone else on the team has told Coach Martin they will not be back next season.
Is Josh Gray not playing due to the fractured wrist? He did play a few minutes in the last game against Kentucky.
I think he's trying not to play him if he can to give him time to heal.
No reason to play him against UGA.
Carter did a little bit of everything yesterday. Great game for him.
Really hate that it happened to Josh Gray. He got his face busted up against Georgia and fractured his wrist against Mississippi State. He started to look really good defensively when South Carolina played Vanderbilt and Texas A&M. Hope he is able to come back during the next time South Carolina plays Mississippi State and beat the hell of the Bullies.
