I didn't see a picture of President Pastides at the championship game or airport. Was he there? I know Tanner was at the game and airport. I can't believe knowing that we had a great chance of winning the game that Pastides would not be at the game.

I would be utterly shocked if Pastides wasn't there. This is the guy who rushed the floor with the students after we beat UK last year. I don't have and *proof* that he attended, but I think it's a pretty safe bet.
I am surprised that someone posted on another topic that he wasn't at the bowl game either...he was in NY for Christmas. I would think when a school is begging fans to support their school and buy tickets to bowl games...that the President of the school would be there. Just surprised. I know he has a personal life....but I would think a bowl game or SEC championship game would trump most things...unless it was weddings or funerals. Just my thoughts.
I understand what you are saying but we don't know what he had going on during these events. It's entirely possible that he had scheduled something in NY long in advance since nobody believed we would ever be playing in that bowl game at the beginning of the year.
President Pastides is one of the most involved presidents/biggest fans of his athletic programs. He is at almost every basketball game
