Agreed OP. It’s about spreading the field and identifying your advantages.
Notice how many balls we had batted down this year? Too predictable and can’t spread the ball.
 
Nobody wins the national championship in football without a dynamic passing game and mobile QB. You can still do it in the pros, but not the college game.

As a collective group Clemson/LSU’s players look larger and more jacked then our team. And very well coached. These players are giving 110%, 100% of the time, which I can’t say about ALL of our guys.
We (Carolina Football) have got to get our crap together. I don’t see a win against Clemson for the foreseeable future. Or LSU who we also play next year.

I’m not so sure you can do it much more in the NFL either. Aside from a few legacy HOFers who are ending their careers right now, the new elite QB in the NFL is mobile. The game has changed.
