I'm probably a little more optimistic we'll eventually be able to follow the money of this war than I have been in the past. In fact almost confident. Evidently we are capable of putting together a team like DOGE with the right kind of people to look into laundry services and the like. I mean they are accomplishing things that no congressional oversight committee has been able to do. This is a new time. If I were a corrupt politician or contractor, I'd definitely be worried.

Most believe that Putin can't be trusted anyway, so what is a "guarantee" worth? Zelenskyy wants NATO membership and/or NATO troops on the ground. Putin isn't going to agree to that. That's part of what escalated this to begin with. And Americans sure as hell aren't going to put our soldiers on the ground over there.
