Imo, it will be the demise of Beamer. Had he made one good OC hire out of his two chances so far, he wouldn't be in the hot seat.

What is more frustrating? A lot of our defense is leaving, (and maybe more with the portal). We may be looking for the offense to carry us next year.

That’s the scary thing. Mrs Satterfield next year will then be arguing Beamer needs another year to try to fix the defense.

Becomes a perpetual cycle of failure gives an excuse for more time.

But most importantly, does Clayton White want to stay to totally rebuild the defense?

The staff is dialing in risk between offense & defense based on competition and how the game is trending.

We have an offense and QB with a total now 7 games under their belt.

We're typically playing competition with much more raw talent on the field.

It's wise not to have a young Sellers taking risks when your defense is dominating a game.

Spurrier did the same thing when he had a young Connor Shaw.

We are playing the odds and doing a very good job of it.
