--Frank Martin starts with a joke: "Obviously, that was a really easy game."

--Team shot 81 times tonight and Martin addresses a rumor about him not letting players shoot and not "turning kids loose" and calls it "fake news."

--Says he's been fighting Maik Kotsar in a good way to believe in himself all season. Said it was huge to see him score in all stages of the game with it in the balance. Said it was a confidence issue and he was happy being in the same role as his freshman year. Said he's been "begging him" to be aggressive.

--Martin said the team didn't pay too much attention to the scouting report in the beginning of the game but they trusted it a little more in the second half and they're "starting to figure it out" in SEC play.

--The leadership on the team is better than it has been all season and the team has been great with leadership coming from Chris Silva, Hassani Gravett and Maik Kotsar. Those three have really stepped their game up during this stretch.

--Martin's said repeatedly he's "messed" Chris Silva up this season. I asked how tonight and Martin gave a really good answer. Said he expected Silva to grow as much as he had his first three seasons but it was time to level out and just have him be good at what he's good at and not ask him to do too much. The two had a pretty lengthy discussion about that, then addressed the team at the start of December and it's paid off for him.

--Martin, when asked if the team's played its best ball yet, said he doesn't believe in ceilings and doesn't want to do that for this team. Said the team is getting better each day and playing really well together right now.
