I have no lock down information, but I think it is probably a grade issue and that no matter how USC would love to have his talent he has probably reached the point where they know his grades aren't going to stack up. After this story broke Thompson even said that though he was no longer committed that USC was not out of the picture. That tells me that the kid has no idea what days in his future. Just another advertisement that these kids need to take care of their academics from the day they start high school. They can dig a hole so deep in their first couple of years that they can't climb out of it.
