Why does the SEC fine coaches for criticizing officials?

That has never made any sense to me. Now I don’t mean slander someone personally but to publicly state that calls are questionable or missed or you don’t agree with them, what’s wrong with that? Why are coaches forced to eat a crap sandwich?

They fine coaches mainly because if they didn't it would be an eternal bitch fest. Just like the fans, the coaches only see things from one side. So win, or lose, you would have both coaches going on all week about how their team had been wronged

Well I saw holding on a few of the big plays for Bama that wasn’t called but they dang sure called every little thing against us.
