Spring Has Sprung, the Grass Has Riz. Wonder where the flowers is.

Sending greetings and Hope from South Florida, that Springtime HAS arrived and is heading your way!

81 degrees, saw the first blossoms on my orange tree and the first single white bloom on my neighbor's Magnolia tree, yesterday. I understand they're revving things up in Daytona this afternoon.

I'm going to guess you Columbia folks will peak out the weekend after The Masters. But, I'm here to tell ya, it's here now, headin' your way AND ITS FEELS SOoooo GOOOOOOOOd!!!

4-Star RB Set To Visit Next Month

2024 4-Star RB Anthony Carrie, who I mentioned last week in the weekly recruiting wrap up, is set to return for a visit on Fri. March 17th. He's a stud with interest from pretty much every school in the southeast, and several others nationally, but the Gamecocks have done a good job of staying in constant contact here.

Time to put Super Bowl Ads out to pasture

And put the halftime show out there with it. Does anyone really pay attention anymore? I think those are things that no longer really spark interest because of the internet. It's much like parades, award shows and beauty pageants (which I have previously declared to be pointless). These things used to garner so much interest because the general public never got to see celebrities outside of movies, or hot girls from other states, or commercials where companies really tried hard. Now it's all old hat because you see these things daily if you want to. All those things ever had was novelty value (not real entertainment value) - and the novelty is gone.

David Bennett's Meltdown (Coastal Car.)

I have no idea how this popped in my head today, but it's always worth visiting Coach Bennett's cats and dogs meltdown - he was relieved of his duties at the end of this season. He had a good run as a coach though. Won the Big South 4 times and was also Division II Coach of the Year when he coached Catawba. But man, a public meltdown like this, you know you're nearing the end. It's a classic through and through.

Shame on Alabama. CHEAP A**ES!

The Saturn 1B will likely be removed at the Alabama Welcome center at Interstate 65 due to deterioration. Is it so much to ask for to maintain important part of history. The Saturn !B was part of the building blocks and development of the early United States exploration into space. The U.S early space accomplishments help put this country on a stage by itself as a world leader. I think all Americans can agree to be proud of that piece of history and yet Alabama just watch through out the years this rocket rotting. SHAME ON YOU CHEAP AZZES!
