I said in another thread that I'm not chalking up ECU as an automatic W at all. I think we're going to have a good idea what kind of team we really have after that game.
2021 Football schedule ... who do we beat? 6 wins and 6 loses? Better or worse?

I think some of y'all want it to go bad to say you're right. If we just stay healthy with an easier schedule that alone is good for a 3 game improvement. I know we lost talent but Muschamp had one of the most talented secondaries in the conference based on talent considering we had minimum 5 future pros between Dixon, Muk, Horn, Sanders and Robinson and had one of the lousiest pass defenses. I also believe Smith and Roderick have potential NFL futures. That tells me we were severely hampered by scheme, conditioning, culture or any combination thereof. Look at Arkansas, we have more talent on defense than they do, couldn't tell if you watched us last year. We don't need to be as talented to be better because less talented teams have been better.
Our DL was young lats year and the most talented players are a year older and have put on good weight. We've recruited the DL really well over the last few years and this is the year all of that talent is sophomores and juniors and that's when DL play to their potential.
Does anyone think Muschamp hasn't squandered WRs? We had Deebo, Shi, Edwards and Hurst and produced nothing. I don't believe we can't produce more next season than we did last season with Powers, Smith, Joyner and Vann, those are just the 4-star recruits we still have. I'm not saying we will be better but there are coaches and schemes that would've never made these players look as bad as Muschamp has. Maybe they won't show out but I don't know how anyone can know how little we produced and can say with confidence the reason we didn't produce is because of talent when everyone knows how little we produced with nfl talent.
Gonna hit the last few at once. Our OL only loses one player from the two deep, TE is loaded, Doty has all the tools (not his fault we sucked around him), no one doubts our RB room and LB will be better if they just stay healthy (Greene got injured first game last year). Between the injuries and all the players we know were good enough to be pros and never produced much, I don't see how we can by law of averages be that bad without historically bad coaching, which is what we were getting.

SO 6-6/7-5 is doable. We simply won’t know what this team is until about game 5/6... if we are sitting at 6-1 or 5-2 after the Vandy game- this team has accomplished a huge turn around regardless of the rest of the season.
if we are like 3-4 after Vandy, or worse... We will not win another game the rest of the year and many people will be ready to give up on the new staff after one season.
4 wins. But that doesn't mean there won't be improvement and better outlook for the future.
I’m going to be optimistic about our new staff. 8 wins. We will be asking, is Beamer this good? Or was Muschamp that bad?
why is kentucky a dumpster fire? i fully believe we can be better than tennessee but we havent had much luck with kentucky for a few years now
While each is entitled to his or her opinion, I think you're being a bit hard on the Cocks. Do you not think Kevin Harris displayed some pretty darn good talent? Yes, I realize that you said "very much." But I think we have decent talent on the D-line. And I think we have some talent at TE. And I'm really hoping some of these transfer kids shine. Tennessee is a hot mess that lost a lot and doesn't have a decent QB so I think we win that one as well. Missouri scares me and it's on the road so I will put that one in the loss column. Finally Auburn. New coach, Bobo as OC, at home, and Bo Nix sucks on the road. This one is probably a loss on paper but who knows, I give it a push.
So 6-6 with a possible 7-5 if we can beat Auburn. Either way we go bowling with another possible win to add to year 1 of the Beamer era.

We're about to have 5 players taken in the NFL draft this year, how did we win only 2 games if not for bad coaching and whatever the hell Muschamp was doing that kept our players in the medical tent.
