But that's what happened.
I found it curious that Moody said," here comes Chad on a rare visit to the mound. Ray always took advantage of multiple coach- pitcher opportunities during a game."
I don't pretend to know these rules. But I can't recall Chad visiting the mound prior to today.
I believe the balk was called following said visit.
