On the one hand, I get celebrating the win since you haven't had much go right recently, but a bad look to insult a bunch of people and preemptively get defensive about it.

Ill never fault 18-23 year old kids celebrating a win. My concerns have nothing to do with the current players trying to win and celebrating when they do.

Hes right though, these kids get 12 Saturdays for 4 years, they should embrace each one and celebrate every win bc its gone before you know it, or as Deion says, “its over” is coming quicker than anyone thinks

Today's player wants their coach to have their back in the media more than ever.

It's a recruiting tool too.

Dabo has made a living saying things like this over time.

A butthurt Vols fan posted this on Twitter.

That's how much last year's loss burned them.

I gotta defend him on this. Its the right approach for the HC of a team in this situation. Its circle the wagons time and his team wants him to publicly defend them.

I think they see him as an empty suit whose win last year was an anomaly, which was proven by this year's performance.

Definitely celebrate the wins but coming at the fan base like that was dumb. It was like telling everybody you’re a loser and you can’t be special like these guys are. It was like saying you people have never won anything and you’re envious of what they’re doing. I understand him getting frustrated with all the negativity he has to hear all the time, but spitting in our faces is not the answer. Kinda remind me of the last guy we had roaming the sidelines.

None of this crap matters. Beat Vandy and celebrate again while the detractors scratch their butt.

He needs to get someone to call and Challenge him and his team.. Sorta Stage a call like Dablow did with Kyle!!! LOL, kyle being on the Coaching staff of Klimpsun...

Who have we lost to this year that would be classified as an upset?

What we haven't had is any upset wins like last season.
Well none, bc we are so bad that no one can really “upset” us. Jax State would have been a minor upset

Ok. Now do it again coming into the season after the 8-5 mark.
Would be a valid point IF we didnt get the dirty assist from Michigan for the UT and Clemson games. Which day by day as more comes out looks even more true. If Michigan doesnt give us all of those teams play calling signals, do we win those games?

If it's even real --- there's so much of this stuff in college football. Most coaches have defended Harbaugh and stated it's not that big of a deal at all. It probably would have been a non-issue if OSU grads/former facility didn't dominate the NCAA landscape.

Additional food for thought:

How would Spurrier have reacted if he lost two future NFL players to NIL buyouts in the off-season?

Lloyd looks like he'll go over 1000 yards for the season. He's averaging 7.7 yards per carry and has 8 TDs. We could have used in games like UNC, UF, UGA, etc.

Bell has been banged up, but he was also rolling for FSU when healthy.

Beamer has hardly mentioned this factor. Probably because the AD muzzles him when it comes to imbalances in resources.

If Spurrier had lost Mike Davis and Weslye Saunders to offseason buyouts, we would have never heard the end of it. He had no concern for our AD and their quest for PC at each turn.

I don't mind it overall. He was a little over the top though. You can tell the pressure of this season is getting to him.

The only problem I've got with his statement is he once again is saying we didn't play well and we didn't coach well. He's said that after almost every game. After the 9th game of the season, when in the hell are we going to play better and coach better? At this point we have to question whether it's not playing and coaching well, or it's a talent and competence issue.

This is just not a good football team. Outside a great QB and WR we are not good in ANY area, offensively or defensively. In year 3 we should be better than this.

We need studs on the OL and DL. It's that simple. Our OL is just plain horrible. Rattler has done more with less than any QB in the country. With just an average SEC OL, he'd be a Heisman contender.

I like it that Beamer stays positive. When you play the schedule we play any win is a good win. There is a lot of pressure on these kids we have had nine different OL combinations so far this season for example due to bang ups and injuries. Being negative certainly won't help.

I like positivity too, but I'm also getting tired of the worn out excuse of injuries. Everybody we play has injuries. Some have more injuries than we do. Most of the top teams like OSU, UGA, FSU, etc have more injuries than we do. We're not losing because of injuries. We are losing because we have a poor team at this point. There were few injuries to start the season, and we lost to UNC and they were without their top 2 receivers. It's no excuse at this level.

"Injuries" is the most overused EXCUSE WORD in the history of sports. Certainly, a more appropo phrase would be 'lack of depth'. Division 1 NCAA teams are allowed 85 SCHOLARSHIP players and up to 125 on the active roster. Let's just use 40 Offensive players, 40 Defensive players, and the 5 specialists aren't included.

That's 20 skill players & 20 Hog Mollies on EACH SIDE of the ball ... on scholarship.
I have to ask ... what the hell are the second and third team players??? Leaches? Parasites just living the good life on scholarship? Obviously Not!!! Your 2nd team should be almost as good as your starters and your 3rd teamers understand that they ain't gonna play but, be ready for 'your one-shot chance'.... Don't Miss It!!!

So, are we just pissing away recruiting $$$ on players who seriously, really don't care? Or are we not coaching a team and just catering to a few Prima Donna's?

Until a "Next Man Up" attitude is established, you don't have a team, you have an ensemble. Morrison understood this. So did Spurrier and Holtz. You muffed a punt, you were no longer a returner. You drop an easy pass, no more targets this week. Your Hurt, Don't Play!!! .... NEXT MAN UP!!!
