Welcome 🙏🏿 everyone to another edition of Gamecock Central Braves Baseball ⚾️ Chat 💬. I am your host @Pfunk Cock along with a plethora of regular participants in the chat.

What a difference a day makes. Twenty Four little hours has magical powers especially after a win. The Braves got up off the deck last night several times before delivering their own extra innings knockout. Freeman finally got off the snide with a homer and it was the only run until the bottom of the 9th with nobody on and two outs. Adrianza worked a walk and Sandoval who was down to his last strike hit a two out two run homer to tie the game and send it to extra innings. After both teams exchanged runs in the 11th the Phillies hit gifted a couple of runs on a throwing error but the pitcher and eventually make it a 3 run lead going to the bottom of the 12th . The Braves came back with an infield hit and another hard hit single loaded the bases. William Contreras then delivered a bases clearing double down the left field corner. He was sacrificed to third and the runner on first was safe in a fielder choice. Adrianza then delivered the game winning Rbi. That win came at a cost as Adrianza was only available to experience those heroics because Acuna left the game after HBP on his right pinky finger. The fear was a possibility of a break and an IL stint but when you are a Not Of The Planet 🌎 young Phenomenon, there is no quit in Snit. 😎🤔.
Starting Lineup
Acuna RF

Ynoa rhp

That’s right folks, Acuna is in the lineup tonight after that scare. Hopefully he can swing a bat comfortably and grasp a baseball without pain . It is a great sign that he is playing because of the cautious nature the organization displays with its young talent. They know it is much better to have him healthy for the stretch run instead of having a lingering injury all season.
The Braves are starting arguably their best pitcher so far this his season in Huascar (The Real Bambino) Ynoa. He is both feared for his upper level fastball, sharp breaking and slow sliders and his awesome display of power to all fields 😎😎. Ynoa is having a breakout season with an all around pitching and hitting. He has seemingly adjusted to the speed of the game and no longer just tries to blow people away with just power. He has learned to pitch. Taking of a little velocity for accuracy and learning to change speeds effectively. Because his control has improved he gets more swings at his breaking balls which is his preference and he is also getting weaker contact as players cannot just sit on pitches . He will be opposed by Aaron Nola of the Phillies who is a crafty pitcher who learned how to change speeds and offset the rhythm at an early age. Nola has been tough for the Braves to hit effectively but they can string together enough of an offense to win tonight. Here is hoping the trends of late continues as we get the pitching and slugging from our secret weapon in the Nine hole 🕳. No Easy Outs Tonight Nola😂😂😂😂.

Roster moves .
As has been suggested the Braves brought back an old friend. I am not talking about the resigning of Flowers 🌺. The Braves came to an agreement with Shane Greene tj come back home and bring stability back to the bullpen. It can soon before the stable of Stallions that we could trot out night after night without wearing out the same people over and over in this marathon of a season .

He has been assigned to start the season at Gwinnett to get his arm strength and training regimen. Hopefully it will not take long for him to get ready as he am sure he has been keeping himself fit know the phone would ring eventually.

First pitch 7:08
