Carolina v Mississippi State tonight

A nice solid win from beginning to end. We're tied for fifth and has the longest active winning streak in the conference.

Couisnard is playing much better and our team has elevated their play as result. Just keep winning and we will see what happens.

in a row. Really happy for Couisnard, without his points, South Carolina does not win the two recent games. Carter is electrifying and a magician in the same game. If he stays at South Carolina, he can catapult South Carolina into the top four in league standing. Woodley showed some dominance tonight, very proud of the results that Woodley provided tonight. J. Wright hang in their kid, your time will come at South Carolina. Last but not least, Stevenson, in my opinion, has been the most consistent player South Carolina has this year. The others that played tonight, your play contributed to a vital win.

That was a solid victory. We looked really good in spurts. Had a few lapses, but that's to be expected.

Mississippi State looked out of sorts. Our D had a lot to do with that. And fortunately for us, they had a few wide open 3's and several opportunities on put backs that didn't go down.

Barring winning out though, best we can hope for is host some games in the NIT and maybe fart around and get another one of *those banners for the rafters
😊

It was a solid win. I am of the opinion it's too little too late for the tourney. I really wish Martin could put together a season where they play really well starting in mid January instead of waiting until mid Feb.

This team looks light years improved from the last time these two played.
Maybe South Carolina ate too much Barbeque while they were in Texas before playing at Mississippi State which caused South Carolina to be a step slower defending the Bulldogs. In Starkville, the Bullies shot 60 percent in the first half and over 50 percent for the game. Last night the Bullies shot only 36 percent which that is a big difference. Also, last night was Mississippi State fourth game in seven or eight days.

Mississippi State is pretty bad on the road. They only got their first road win a few days ago against Missouri. But I don't think us staying out west for both A&M and MSU did us any favors when it came to staying focus.

Coach Martin needs to keep an eye on Woodley. He almost got into a brawl against Mississippi State. Cooler heads must prevail.

Woodley needs to keep the aggression going and then some. What in the hell is so wrong nowadays? Everyone, well half the ppl on here at least, are a bunch of wusses. I'm guessing that half has never played sports, or at least sucked at sports.

It wasn't even that bad. The other guy instigated the whole thing because they were losing and Woodley wasn't backing down. I'm glad we didn't take the bait and let that distract us from the goal of winning the game.

What do you mean by not taking the bait?

A disgruntled player on the losing team gets into other player's head and it effects his play, therefore changing the momentum of the game.
Okay thanks. I just think after the play is over do not engage any further with the jawing and finger pointing. I was worried that Woodley would have been charged with a technical foul and that could potentially change the game.
