1. Scott Satterfield (46yrs old) - Louisville (former App. State head coach)
2. Mike Norvell (37yrs old) - Memphis
3. Mike Houston (47yrs old) - ECU (Former D2 coach that won big consistently at several stops including James Madison and The Citadel )
Other names I like and think are possibly good fits:
Willie Fritz (59yrs old) - Tulane ( really like this guy too )
Another former D2 coach with tons. I mean plenty of HC experience going back to the 90's.
Has a great record and won big at Sam Houston State and was at Georgia Southern as well. Currently winning at Tulane.
Bill Bedenbaugh - Oklahoma OC
Has been there since 2013 no head coaching experience though. (Could be a nice OC for a Shane Beamer though... Jus sayin.)
Tim Beck- Texas OC
Was previously the OC at Ohio State under Urban Meyer and before that was the OC at Nebraska.
No head coaching experience outside of Texas high school football though.
I'm sure there are some other names out there that I'm not aware of. So throw them out there.
But I think if you check these guys out this is a solid list of 4 guys that are all well within our budget, have head coaching experience and have alot of potential.
