On the "Strikes" album Blackfoot covered Spirit's "Got a Line on You." Much better than the original. If you like southern rock, give it a listen.

Just heard this....that is a good version. Glad someone recognized how good that song is.
"All Along the Watchtower" is probably the best cover. Also "Dazed and Confused" by Led Zeppelin is another good one.
Still like the Isley Brothers version of "Twist and Shout" better.
Judson I usually agree with you on most things. Not this. S & G version is classic. Perfect harmonies throughout it.

“Ain’t No Sunshine When She’s Gone”- Ziggy Marley’s version is best if those I have heard and it is not close.
Hidden gem! As good as they were on that song, makes you wonder why they didn't do more R&B.
This is probably the best. To me, Cash owns that song.

Reznor respectfully added in an NME interview that the cover meant more to him than winning something like a Grammy. The cover and video were recorded and filmed shortly before Cash’s death. Popular opinion across almost every genre of music is that “Hurt” by Cash, is the best cover of all time

Ha ha no problem. I just feel like the cover artists voice matches the words to the song better.
