Just curious, if someone slandered and defamed you on a national platform, attempting to undermine an impeccable reputation that you spent your entire career building, would you just let it die and move on?

Blast Stankey for not handling the situation. It didn't take long for Stankey to fine Martin. My recollection is Tanner stated they investigated the incident and found no proof the allegations occurred. I don't remember him saying anything to defend Staley.

You might want to read the language of the law suit. Pecuniary loss is not the only element in a slander/liable law suit
