Game thread - Clemson

I'm with you on players knowing they can step in and play right away. I just don't see many top recruits wanting to step in and play for a Satterfield coached offense.
I don’t think it’ll impact them this year. Another bad year, yes. If he does remain and we struggle again next season…if he isn’t fired then…Beamer will fail. Period.

So, in conclusion, we were about as bad against good teams as we thought we would be with a couple exceptions, and we had a little more fun this fall than we originally were predicted to have by everyone.

Which one of those is using a 3rd string FCS Catholic school QB?
Lol you are clueless. Actually BC lost their QB before Clemson game as did GA Tech. Like I said I was hoping we were at least in the ballpark with those programs, all three of those ran for more yards against Clemson than we did.

We need a QB that can make up for the lack of an O line and running game. A "legit" one won't be enough.
I've said it many times -- the way our offense is currently composed, we need a Cam Newton, Mike Vick, or Vince Young type of QB talent to make it work.

We lost TWO QBs. And we weren't deep to begin with.

You are the one that is clueless.

Like I've said ad nauseum. At least TRY THE DAMN FULLBACK. We've only tried it a couple of times with Bell.

If that doesn't work either, so be it.
Do you think that would make more of a difference than an of the wide open crossing routes the first half? The run game wasn't there, a FB wasn't gonna make that much of a difference, completions downfield would've changed a lot more.

He ran the ball. Up to us to stop it. I don’t expect him to turn it over intentionally. It was 4th and 3.
This is correct. Very good sportsmanship. Taking a knee when you can't run out the clock would have been a worse insult. You keep the ball on the ground. You go for it on fourth down. You don't kick a field goal.

Poorly coached offense... Satterfield needs to get on the case and figure out who is responsible.
It wasn't coaching, it was the QB missing wide open receivers to push it down field. Clemson dared us to beat them with the pass and we reacted by forcing low percentage throws and ignoring wide open receivers. If the play is there to be made and the QB has time to throw, it ain't on the coach.

Some just want to complain about everything. That was on us.
