It really wasn’t. It was well placed but Vann has no fight in him.
Hey we did get one first down in the first half though, at least we weren’t shut out in that stat too.
With our inability to move the ball, I’m ok with it. If defender doesn’t get away with shoving Vann in the shoulder preventing him from going up and making it play…he has a chance to catch that ball. He’s made more difficult grabs this season. It should’ve at least been PI. It was subtle, I’ll give him that. But it absolutely took Vann out of the play and led to the INT. Vann was about to jump up to make a play. Instead he flew backwards and at first glance it looked like he didn’t even try. Not the case on replay.
Just like how we wanted Dabo to be Clemson's Head Coach in those 5 years of beat down... I'm sure you remember that when asking for Dabo's head...

We are a QB away from competing in this game, we are getting guys open downfield but Brown keeps trying to force the knockout hit.
You didn’t see the shove? Vann was about to make a play on the ball. In real time I thought the same thing as you. But when you see the replay, the defender absolutely pushes him down on the shoulder just as he’s about to go up and knocks him off balance.
How many 5 and 4 star players on Clemson's team??? And How many 5 and 4 star players we have for Carolina...
This, and the weaka** ACC fueled clemson’s current run. When they started running a wide-open offense, they drew 5* skill players like flies. Eventually, they shored up the trenches and here we are today.
Meanwhile, we’ve been boring-O-U for nearly a decade….. and here *we* are.
No we're not. We're also an OL away, an OL coach away and most importantly, an OC away.
I'm sure Beamer will point that out after the game.
Vann wasn’t ready to make a play on the ball. You could see on the big board he didn’t even try to get his hands up. He’s great when he’s open but he’s not a play maker who is going to get you those kind of balls.
Or a QB.
Satterfield takes the nice 16 yard gain to pass the stats rather than take a shot on the last play. Gutless.

How many of those 4-5 stars are injured? Be interesting to actually compare those in THIS game, yet they are still waxing us. 35 yards!!!
He's getting a clean pocket and I've seen a few receivers open shallow while he's making bad throws deep.
It works. You know that when that happens, we don’t do it any more.
Muse was wide open and right in front of Brown. He needs to take what is available instead of forcing it.
What makes you think any Gamecock fan has forgotten this is Beamer's 1st year? I would be disappointed if we didn't have a coach.
He served us well this year. Gave us hope. The transfer portal will bring new QBs.
