Raging Cock is spot on with his assessment. The man can catch swing passes and take them to the house. He has speed that we don’t have in our backfield and that creates issues for defenses to scheme for. I would like to see it happen even if he sat out Clemson game though that would not happen just saying that if he helped us beat Georgia or Alabama or both you know it actually helps Clemson seeding in the Championship games. Clemson fans might actually have to pull for him to do well except against them.
I think it does happen, that he comes here...Coach Brown may be the big influence....

Shaq Smith was the number 6 recruit on rivals that year. At least Tavien started some games.
I was surprised he didn't start for Clemson as a freshman and be a big part of their offense for 4 years. I guess they just had better running backs.
If he comes here he will play, but I don't agree he will an instant and overwhelming success. I think he will be in the top 3 of our backs and end up with 6-800 all purpose type yards. Maybe run back some punts. That might put him at or close to the top of our backs. And the competition will be good for Dowdle, Denson, Fenwick, Valentine and Turner. (if he's still at RB)
Think about this...we have 2 senior RBs that have played since they were Freshmen. We have Mon Denson who has gotten a lot of action in his time here. If our staff even thought one of these guys was a game changer, there is no way they’d be offering a Graduate Transfer for one season, much less one from our in-state rival. The minute he steps on the field he is by far our best RB. How we use him??? That’s probably where I’ll agree with your statistics. I doubt we’ll use him how we should.
As a freshman, his pass protection was bad and we had Gallman who was a good runner and excellent blocker. Etienne was even worse in pass protection as a freshman. They both got much better. On the same team, Feaster should be head and shoulders above your current backs but I don’t see how he ends up there unless he runs out of options. He talks like will only go to a playoff contender.

OU or UT look like his best chances to get decent carries and get back to the playoff. He wouldn’t get many behind Najee Harris at Alabama.

Feaster is the real deal. Etienne is just a little better. He runs hard and has breakaway speed. Watch his run against NC State two years ago. We don’t have anyone close to that type of back. His hands aren’t great and he’s not as explosive as Etienne to the hole but he can fly by the time he hits the second level. If he comes, he’ll be the best back since Marcus.

he’s going to the nfl, so really, what connections are needed? barring injury of course. david williams went to arky and scored a td against us. i wasn’t happy arky got points on the board, but i was personally happy for him to get the opportunity to play! he’s in the nfl now. he wouldn’t have gone to the nfl if he stayed here. josh belk went to your game instead of traveling for ours ar at least watching it at home. from what i heard, it was all love from your players and coaches. yes, gamecocks had a minor meltdown about it, but moved on in about a week. not a big deal.

You may be Tyson Fury, but there was a study done one time that showed that "internet tough guys" actually are pretty wimpy or would never actually say the things they say online in person. Well it’s common sense most people aren’t as outspoken ... but surely you understand that wasn’t his point. He was insinuating I’d be afraid to call him a douche to his face. I don’t typically make it a practice of calling people douches to their faces but I wouldn’t say it wasn’t out of fear of people. Most people don’t act like a douche or make the comment that earn them the title of douche in person. If this douche were sitting across the table eating and he made the backhanded insults like he did in his post, I’d call him a douche or say something along the lines of, “don’t be a douche”.
