Guessing Point Spread vs A&M

I would have to venture a guess of A&M minus 3..
This will depend on their game this week against LSU and how they Fare..
I would think minus 3 would be about right. My only concern is that A&M has 17 sacks this year, which might indicate they can get to our QB. As we all know, a sack can easily be made a turnover by a QB who is prone to do so. We also have a boatload of sacks so the same holds for the A&M QB. I think the outcome of the game rests on who can protect the ball better. I’m going to go with A&M minus 7. I just hope we don’t repeat the Ole Miss game.

Great points, Hopefully Rocket will be healthy and can shoulder most of the load, with maybe some delays, or Screens..

Before the quarterback change I would have called it a toss-up. After seeing the new QB score 5 touchdowns in a quarter and a half I have to say A&M by 18.

Prepare for that second one. How do they go back to that first one after last night? My telepathy reached out to Elko and they are thereby undefeated in the conference today. Now it's THEM by eight.

They switched away from that qb earlier in the year against mizzou, and were all excited they had a passing game.

I didn't see the games that led to that, so i don't know if he was underperforming or not.

Reed has to have won the starting gig with that performance. They scored 31 points in the last quarter and a half with Reed. Maybe they bring in the other guy to mix it up but I would expect to see more of Reed than the other guy.

All I know is, had they left the one they were previously excited about in the LSU game, they would not today be leading the SEC and residing in the Top 10. The other boy always looked little better than average to me.

A&M is full of confidence now. They are just thinking about having to play Texas later.
I think A&M will start Reed and Kennard and Stewart will make them pay for that. LSU did not get any defenders in the backfield fast enough to stop him. And if he shoots up the middle, and they do not get him, Deebo and Bam will close any holes their line tries to make and stuff him. Either way, Reed will learn what it feels like to be tackled.
That speed is great, but once he starts getting hit, it will slow him down and make him ineffective. And when they switch QB's Kennard and Stewart will have that other QB scrambling so much, Emmanwori, Kilgore or one of the others will get a pick 6.
Last time in Willy-B after a bye week, it was a 30-24 win. This time with our D, it will be 31-10.

We shall see. LSU's defense overall is not that good though they were containing Weigman before Reed replaced him. Reed presents a challenge with his quickness. This is a big opportunity for us. We laid an egg the last time a ranked team came into town (Ole Miss). Hopefully we will be focused and prepared this time around.

I just hope we don’t have an Ole Miss type of mental meltdown.
Agree. That's the only game we've played poorly in all season. In fairness though, our starting RB was out of that game with an injury (Sanders) and Sellers played injured and those are our two biggest weapons on offense.

In my opinion, the team has exceeded expectations this year. We could easily be 6-1 right and our strength of schedule sits at #3 in the nation. That is very impressive for what we have to work with in terms of team talent.
