Here we go, we have positive cases. Mayo Bowl in doubt

Exactly. Believe me, big pharma would much rather cure Covid with a medication you take after getting infected versus a vaccine that keeps you from getting it (edit: helps decrease the chances you end up in the hospital) The profit margin on a medication is substantially greater versus a vaccine.
True. But Fauci and the NIH don't hold multiple patents with royalties attached with the Monoclonal Antibody therapy. For Fauci alone, it's believed to be at least 8 patents on the vaccines netting $150,000 per patent. That doesn't even include other ownership interests (Moderna) and perks from the providers.

Could have sworn this was a sports forum and not a QAnon gathering.🤷‍♂️
The reason this is on topic is sports forums is because sports is getting shut down with virutally no cause. If you can't prevent transmssion to any extent and there's a 99.7% survival rate, life needs to move on before we drown in debt and mental issues. $10 Trillion in debt tied to a badly flawed zero COVID policy. QAnon is a term they use to disparage any kind of critical thought.

Looks like a bunch of sex will be going on

Unless someone has seen something different, we have had exactly one (yes, one) death in the US from the Omicron variant. Are we really shutting things down for that? The insanity has to stop somewhere, right? This is the variant that everyone should be overjoyed about. Herd immunity (along with treatment) is the only way out IMO.

Who knows what will happen though? It's a massive money-maker for the big 3 (Pfizer, BioNTech, and Moderna), pre-tax profits of 93.5 million PER DAY. It has been said many times before, but it's worth repeating...follow the money.
also check on how many in congress have stock in the big 3 vaccine companies. time for people to wake up and see what the hell they are doing. you are exactly right, just follow the money trail... every single time

I’m pretty sure getting elected to congress provides the biggest financial windfall for most officials. It’s amazing how many (and their friends and families) see their wealth all of a sudden increase once they take office.

Yep, how many millions of dollars go into campaigning for a job that pays roughly 175k per year?

I’m pretty sure you just missed the overall point here.

I believe it was Sanders or one of the other “Squad” members who funnel money for campaign advertising through a family owned advertising company. Essentially the firm gets some significant percentage of whatever the cost of the advertisement ends up being. So if they buy 5 million dollars of advertising, the company gets like 10% of it. I’m sure it happens on both sides of the aisle. The greatest thing we could ever so for this country would be term limits. But it will never happen. Too much money and political influence at stake.

Yeah I’m glad all the people that stormed the Capitol were just nice peaceful protestors that were backing the blue. If only they had complied…..

I'd take them over the "peaceful protestors" from the other political persuasion. They killed a lot less people.

But this thread had nothing to do with the Capitol riot. It's being tied to it by you so you can call people you disagree with the Q word.

There's a lot of video from that day that the current administration does NOT want anyone to see. I watched a lot of it before it was taken down. Most were calmly walking around inside a building that they assumed they had every right to be in. The capital police even opened the doors for them.

Zero COVID policy has been devasting in every way. Even mainstream media is talking about it now. Check Face The Nation from Sunday.
I can criticize both sides. Has the Biden administration botched testing supply? Sure.

The difference is I can recognize the shortfalls without pigeon crapping on the United States as a country. This is still the greatest country. Regardless of the President, the Founding Fathers made it possible for work to get done regardless of having a “good” or “bad” President.

The problem is partisan politics and campaign financing don’t allow people on either side to truly work for the country anymore. If you think it’s just about the Oval Office, you’re getting played.

First of all that happened before the current President took office and there were two weeks where any video could have gotten out and nothing the current administration could have done to stop it. Unless you believe this is a cover up that spans over two different Presidents with two different political loyalties.

They may “assume” they have the right to be in there but that is not the same as having the right to be there. Ignorance does not excuse breaking law. Since when did people just walk into the Capitol? Last time I went I’m pretty sure I had a scheduled time set up through my representative in Congress.

That's what I said. It was available for a couple of weeks until the new DOJ came in and shut it down. Apparently the violence was started by antifa and blm members. That's what is being covered up. It was planned.

The last time I visited the Capital building we just walked in like everyone else.

So the country was run in the ground when?
Ben, you know I respect your opinion, but have you seen the supply chain issues, businesses closing, the exploding deficit, inflation, etc.? This country is in a mess. I fear that we haven't seen the worst of it. We're not in the ground, but we're headed that way IMO if we don't make some changes and reverse course. I know and acknowledge that Covid was and is real, but it's also my opinion that there were massive overreaches and overreactions which absolutely devastated the economy. There are going to be long-lasting consequences. We've added debt in just two years that my children and grandchildren will never be able to service. No, we're not in the ground, but we're headed in a bad direction.

I'm honestly not talking about politics at all here. Yes, it's all compromised. However, what is happening now is unprecendent in terms of damage.

Throwing $10 Trillon at zero COVID (far more than we spent in wars), killing small businesses, setting back a generation of kids, cancelling entertainment, restricting travel etc. and look at the end effect? The virus is running it's course just like HIV did.

We could have easily used existing meds and education about treatment and prevention to save far more lives for a small fraction of the cost. There still isn't anything out there that comes close to maintaining your Vitamin D levels around 50 N/L for both prevention and treatment. It's very clear in the literature but you'll never hear it from our government.

Now I’m not on board with Antifa but you really have to ask yourself who was really upset on Jan 6. I saw a lot of people that didn’t exactly fit the BLM or Antifa profile that were scaling walls. Maybe they just went in disguise.

I appreciate it. I respect your opinion as well. There are definitely some issues and I’ll be the first to admit the current administration seems clueless on how to fix them. I agree a lot of these issues are long term and I’m not sure any of the last two Presidents had a good pulse on this. Hopefully there is someone coming up through the pipeline with some real solutions whether they have an R or D beside their name.

Some of the non career ones are worse. The guys in for the long haul are at least trying to play both sides and not do anything stupid. The grifters who just see dummies with open check books ready to give them money if they say insane things are a bigger problem.
