Greer High.....and I have no clue how they will be this year or if they have any D-1 prospects. FB is my prime source for how they are doing and I haven't seen any posts as of yet.
Lancaster Bruins. I'm hoping for six or seven regular season wins, and maybe a win in the first round of the playoffs. Anything more than that would be gravy.
NMB High School - Zane Smith Punter / Kicker - Has beaten out really good kickers in camps this summer and hes only a Sophomore
Abbeville...3 state Championships in a row & hoping for another ! .Always got some guys heading off to play college but usually the smaller schools
Would think they'd schedule 1-2 NC schools each season and get more "publicity" as a result.
Smaller schools probably are more flexible in letting the student play multiple sports.
Abbeville as well. Very good chance at claiming a 4 title in a row and 6 in the last 9 years. Only thing standing there way will be themselves.
St. James Sharks. Gonna be an interesting season (not in a good way) with all of the turmoil the program has been through recently. Never a good sign when a coach is one & done.
I believe things are in better hands now. Just gotta get that weight room built!

My wife went to school there. They were the Blue Hurricanes then. I graduated from Southside in Florence, since replaced by South Florence - more Bruins.

Actually, and I wish it hadn't been this way, I was a vagabond who happened to finish school in Florence. My other high school years were spent in Georgetown, at the now defunct Winyah High School - the Gators, who were always good back then but never great.
Go Trojans, another amazing season expected, Get South Pointe then Byrnes to start the season, we will know by game 3..
Hanahan. Should be decent. Got some new region opponents. One DLineman who blew out his knee at Moo U camp. I think Dumbo was recruiting him as an OT.
I finished in 1968, but it was at Southside-Florence, not Winyah-Georgetown. The 66/67 school year was my final year at Winyah.

Lower Richland Diamonds Finally has a good coach . Last year was the first we made the playoffs since 1991 Rodney Barr is a good coach at LR . I just hope LR can keep him for a while
Lower Richland will always mean Mooney Player to me. He was a great high school coach, too.
I drove by Allen's stadium a few weeks ago...seats 18,000, and is not the largest in the state. The McKinney ISD stadium opens this year, 72 million dollars. One of the most impressive stadiums I have ever seen.
....Is the Mckinney stadium for 1 school or shared? I was just in area and missed the opportunity to check it out.
Summerville Greenwave. I think they are heading in the right direction but the previous 3 years before last season were rough.
