Beaufort (SC) DB Jimmy Legree is set to report to USC Sunday as well. The in-state corner was picked up by South Carolina and many believe he is better than his ranking and offer list would indicate. Legree has good size for the position and could be counted on as early as this season to add depth.

St. Stephen (SC) Timberland DE Aldrick Fordham is also set to arrive in Columbia this weekend to begin classes and voluntary workouts. The athletic DE will likely need a redshirt year to gain strength and weight, but he has the tools needed to be a good player for USC.

I posted this earlier in an update on the board, but just to reiterate, I don't foresee any problems with Alshon Jeffery clearing USC's admissions and making it into the university.

Football Recruiting: Class of 2010

Southeast Raleigh (NC) LB Kendall Moore told me earlier that he still has six schools on his list and that South Carolina is one of those schools. He is scheduled to make his decision on July 11 and has a pretty good idea in his mind of where he is going to go, though he's not completely sure. As I said in an answer to a question today, I do not like USC's chances with him. He does like South Carolina a lot and has been to campus a few times, but he is more enamored with other schools at this point and I do not expect him to pick Carolina.

Woodberry Forest (VA) LB Aramide Olaniyan is someone that the USC staff has had their eye on for some time. The current Duke commitment is still going to camps and taking visits, his most recent one being UNC where he gained an offer from the Tarheels. He will be on USC's campus sometime in July. He wants to also visit UCLA, just got back from Notre Dame which he enjoyed and has been talking with Vanderbilt.

Eric Mack enjoyed his recent trip to USC. Many of you have asked if the news that Alshon Jeffery is looking good to qualify would affect him. I caught up with Mack briefly and he said it would help "a little" if Alshon was to make it to campus this year. Mack does not have any other visits planned and still says he is wide open.

Chris Dunkley has not rescheduled his visit to USC for this summer and likely will not, at this point it looks like unless Dunkley decides to camp later in July, that he would make a visit to USC an official one. The chances of USC getting an official, however, are up in the air at this time.

I caught up with Kendrick Frazier briefly earlier today. His top five at this time is Coastal Carolina, South Carolina, Kentucky, Maryland, Alabama, and that is in no particular order according to him. Even if he's not saying it publicly, Carolina has lead for him for a while. He does not sound in a hurry to make a decision at all, but he is one that Carolina is in strong position to get a signature from in the future.

State College (PA) WR Alex Kenney recently picked up an offer from Wake Forest. He camped at Penn State not too long ago and enjoyed his experience there. I have heard he is likely going to be on South Carolina's campus at some point this summer. He is intrigued by South Carolina because they are a program on the rise; he wants to learn more about them.
