If Spurrier's enemies (thereby making them our enemies) thought that he was getting lazy, losing motivation, getting ready to give up coaching, etc, then they should have left him alone. Everyone, even his detractors, knows that a motivated Steve Spurrier is about as good as it gets in the world of coaching football. They made it personal to Spurrier. They rejuvenated his competitive spirit. In short, they may have called down the wrath of a football god onto themselves and their favored teams. I promise you that the people maddest at Mark Bradley right now are the coaches that have South Carolina on their schedule this season. If the talent is there and if Steve Spurrier is still Steve Spurriier, 2015 is not going to be a repeat of 2014. I am waiting anxiously to find out the answer to the two ifs I mentioned in the prior sentence. Go Gamecocks!
