yeah and King hired the thug master to coach BB...but note well: King was out of his league as AD; no one loved the uni more than he did...also he could not understand that the uni didn't work the same as the Corps---

Yeah. BOT went along with Holderman and fired what may have proved to have been the best FB HC USC ever had. Holderman must have had pics of everybody.
Carlen may have had some issues in his personal life but so did Holderman. Carlen was a great coach. Holderman a so-so president who wound up in jail. I honestly don't think USC has ever recovered from this blunder.
