Misleading statistic. If you play 12 regular season games per season (as opposed to 10-11) there are more available games to lose. That can't be repeated enough.

It's the same metric they used last year to say he won the most in 3 years. Can't have it both ways.Misleading statistic. If you play 12 regular season games per season (as opposed to 10-11) there are more available games to lose.
Perhaps winning percentage might be more accurate.
Still bad, no matter how you cut it.
Give us some numbers.
Terry Bowden was fired at Auburn after losing 17 games in 6 seasonsBelieve Muschamp and Holtz are tied at 25 losses. However, Holtz inherited a true *trainwreck* from Brad Scott and had the 0-11 first year.
However, he quickly turn things around (like quality coaches do) was beating ranked opponents. He trended up with his recruits.
Muschamp is on a downward spiral with his recruits - just like he was at UF.
And the highest buyout. That can't be repeated enough.

different expectations I guessTerry Bowden was fired at Auburn after losing 17 games in 6 seasons
Winning percentage would equalize it.....How can people say he has the most wins but now most losses
different expectations I guess

You’re my hero. Was about to say the same thing. It's the same metric they used last year to say he won the most in 3 years. Can't have it both ways.

He won the SEC.And they hired Tommy Turbeville, whose winning percentage at Auburn was less than Bowden's.
That can't be repeated enough.

Wow. And the worst single season record at UF in the past 40 years BEFORE we hired him. Sad.More losses than Sparky and Brad after 4 years. Embarrassing.
True. It's only going to be tougher for the next guy the longer we wait.Muschamp has proven at both Florida and SC the 2nd season is his high water mark. After that the next 2 years show horrible results. 10-13 at UF and 11-14 here. Florida wasn't willing to let him run it into the ground and sent him packing which is expected from a school with a good history. We seem to be doing what a school with much less success would do and that's expect something different from him after seeing his results at 2 programs in the same division. When he leaves here it sadly may cause the next HC to get fired quickly because of the dumpster fire he'll inherit.
