Today was the final day media gets to watch the Gamecocks' practice at Tampa Jesuit High School with the first 15 minutes available to be seen.
They'll practice again Saturday and Sunday with no media availability or practice viewing at all.
Friday's stint was incredibly similar to that of the other two days with a stretch period then special teams work followed by game plan and position drills.
Yellow jerseys: Zack Bailey, Donell Stanley, Bryson Allen-Williams, Jaylin Dickerson, Rico Dowdle, Terry Googer
--Bailey, who had a high ankle sprain earlier this season, had his ankle taped up pretty heavily Friday and also wore a pretty hefty knee brace. He was in full pads but didn't participate in any drills I saw.
--Stanley was the same way in a heavy knee brace: going through stretches in full pads but not going through drills. Both were with their position groups, though.
--Sherrod Greene, Tavyn Jackson and A.J. Turner stretched separate from the team with a special trainer as to make sure they were fully ready to go. They've been a little banged up this month and they've been going to do that before position drills.
They were full participants today and Muschamp said yesterday he expects them to go Monday.
--Damani Staley was taking reps today with the first-string linebackers—T.J. Brunson and Skai Moore. Eldridge Thompson, Greene and Antoine Wilder were the second group. Muschamp's been impressed with Staley this bowl season, he's said.
--I listened to a lot of what Coleman Hutzler told his linebackers during practice and I can see why he was a Broyles Award semifinalist. I could listen to him talk shop all day.
