Once there was a head coach that took over an SEC East team from a legendary, National Championship winning head coach. Over the course of 4 years, this coach lead his team to 2 very mediocre seasons, one good season (where most people agree the team was not as good as the W-L record would suggest), and one awful, 4 win season complete with a loss to a Sun Belt team. Lack of offense and injuries were a major problem, and the fans were fed up with it by his fourth season. Just when it looked like the wheels had come off, an upset win over Georgia gave him some temporary life. That didn't last long, though, and after another loss to his team's in-state ACC rival, he was dismissed.

Yes, that happened once. No, wait, what's that you say? It's about to happen twice? To the same coach? Once at Florida, and now at South Carolina? That's unbelievable and insane!

That is kinda spooky . Big difference is Team #1 puts a priority on winning . Team #2..... not so much

But but he learned his lesson at Florida and things will be different this time!!!

Not to rub it in, but those of us with close ties to UF told you so. Tanner's hiring of Muschamp was shocking to Gator fans, most of whom have strong sympathies for USC. It was seen as being catastrophic to the Gamecocks, and has proven to be so. Tanner's entire salary should be put in escrow to help pay off Muschamp's contract.
