I "think" was just a figure of speech. He is absolutely involved in every decision that Rattler makes. Notice the "we". To suggest otherwise is just flat wrong. Giovando was very complementary of Satterfield's scheme. No way he would have come here otherwise.
Giovando, who’s trained Rattler as a quarterback since Rattler was a sixth grader, told the Arizona Republic that Rattler’s future was wide open.
“Whether or not
we declare for the draft or find another school remains to be seen,” Giovando said. “
We just want to keep getting feedback from where he may fall in the draft. And his number one goal is to be a first-round pick one day, so he will do what’s best in the end so he can achieve that goal.”
