South Carolina spending vs.. you know who

face it, Clemson has money up there and the AD isn't afraid to use it...

It's the other way around up there. He's afraid to not use it. Their fans eat, drink, sleep, piss and crap football. It's literally all they've got. From the top down at Clemson, your #1 function in life is to help the football team. #2 is to stick it to Carolina every chance you get.

Here is USC's 1980 Beech-

And here is Dabo's ride-

This should tell us all we need to know about the attitude at Clemson as opposed to USC and there's no reason for USC to be stingy. No wonder Clemson is in the top 5 and USC is not even in top 25. We can see the powers that be at USC aren't that interested in a winning FB pgm. Some posters call for WM to be replaced but it looks as if the BOT needs to be replaced. Ray should be raising hell about this but as far as I know he isn't. Maybe he just wants to get along by going along.

Just spend all that money on a copy of a resort/palace that millionaires stay at while on vacation at some exotic location. Make it roomy enough that friends and family can come over to visit and spend the night. Give each player their own suite. Private hot tub, TV, king sized bed, in-room meals, free video game downloads, private tutors, on-line classes, etc. Well, you get the picture. Next, build a stadium like that one currently being used in Atlanta by the Falcons. Inside the stadium you will provide the best of everything...weights, NFL calibre conditioning coaches, etc. that would make Alabama's weight room and staff look like they came from a third world country. And finally, you bring in a proven winner as your HC. Someone that knows how to recruit and coach championship teams. And you fly the recruits and their whole families in on 737's and let them spend the night in one of the resort rooms and then tour the facilities. If you can do all that, you can sign people in from all over the country. Top facilities will bring in top prospects.

This is literally a guaranteed path to success! You just have to build this resort large enough that other regular students get housing there too, and any student can come and use the facilities so its all UP and UP. Show a recruit a literal millionaires lifestyle and I bet we will see recruits rolling in here so fast people will get pissed that we turn away 4* guys because we are too full of better talent. It might not win a ring, but you'll spend the season bouncing around the top 8 teams or better.

I have no idea why he would leave. He's making insane money without head coach pressure, and even if their system tanked, he's at least 5 years away from being OUT. If he leaves, HE could tank and be gone in 3, or 5 at best. Why go ANYWHERE except a foreign beach when he retires/bores of coaching?
I guess...but why make 2 mil when you can make 5? And trust me...he has a lot of pressure. They are winning championships because of the D.

The BOT at USC has ALWAYS been the reason for our lack of success athletically. The board has never been behind athletics at USC and never will be until we demand it. And of course that will never happen because our fanbase would much rather bitch about a problem instead of actually solving it for once. That is the difference between Clemson and USC athletically and it will never change. It's our fault as fans. Rinse, repeat year after year.

I am all for improving campus life for the average joe but they would not have the same facilities to live in nor would they have the same facilities to play in. But that could be solved with their own student center that would offer world class facilities for all students and alumni to enjoy. You could do both in the same general area where the new stadium would be built, The luxury suites would be located with a short walk to both the practice fields and the stadium. The student center would also be within walking distance of the new stadium. Dreamers can dream but that would take a whole lot of cash to pull that off...winning the jackpot and taking deferments with all proceeds going to the AD of USC. Minus a few million for yourself to live on each year from the interest earned.

Why would any of Clemson coaches move right now? All of the coordinators get paid top money, they all still need massive experience, except Venebles. When Dabo was hired and fir many years, don’t know that it happens now, you took a share of his pay and gave it to all of the coaches and advisors on his team so they could get could money. Venebles has said many times that he loves the job he does. He makes more money than he knows what do with and his children have been raised in Clemson. Many asst and analyst have been fired to get the ones that all buy into the same culture of winning.
Mushchsmp May very well be that next coach but he has to get the best of,df, sp, s&c, lb, te, about, ok etc coaches he can find and pay them the money to do the job and stay the hell out of the way unless they don’t produce

This....plus he has one kid in the program and another likely on the way. Would be hard to walk away from that, but with the right head coaching gig, it wouldn't be impossible, especially with new transfer rules.

Sounds like its more in how the university's report .I do seem to recall Champ asking for 2 jets, and he has totally restructured out recruiting system so I'm good

That's what I just read on The state. Big difference in accounting practices.

That’s line item 37 on the budget sheet.
37: Donations to charity (NewSpring Church) ........,$1,600,000.

And then we all know what the “church” does with it.

Newspring line item 67: Local Missions...........$1,600,000.

How hard is it to figure out, that you can’t be outworked or outspent by those damn Hillbillies?

I thought Ray Tanner made a debacle on the coacing. Search and had to settle for him. Probably inexperience shows.

How ever Muschamp has yet to have a losing season and i know the schedule has been easy

I dont want him fired but in year 6 i expect to be an SEC contender if not it might be time to seperat from him
