Storrs....

Can't help but think back to Les Miles saying that when we lost to LSU, all pumped up for a win.

A game Defensively we had chances to win but our offense let us down.

The dream is not dead. Geez have you ever posted anything good about Carolina ?

Our defense had the ball rammed down its throat all night. We just had the Legree interception and forced some FGs to keep it within striking distance. Our offense was awful all night. Two of our scoring drives came following the INT and another in garbage time, once we were down 23-14. We were fortunate to not get blown out that night.

Which had more too do with our sub par offense. With all of those guys on our offense that would eventually play in the NFL I expected more than just keeping the game close.

Our offensive game plan, if one existed, was atrocious. Our girls need to learn to move the ball around the the perimeter quickly. The held on to the ball too long. It looked like Staley couldn't make any adjustments to combat the face-guarding on Mitchell.

Don't make it more than it is. We lost to the most successful program in the last 15 years on the road. We're going to be ok.

I told my kids last night the UCONN game reminded me of that loss in Death Valley. It was just obvious they (either one) were the better team and you take your lumps and go home.

The Gamecocks had the wrong game plan on both sides of the ball and really made no adjustments until it was too late. Pathetic performance, that I blame on the coaches and the raucous LSU crowd. We were a more physical team than klempsun and they absolutely took it to LSU in the Georgia Dome. For once, Spurrier should have been throwing the ball from the 2nd quarter on, not running the ball into the DL every play. LSU was intent on shutting Marcus down.

Klempsun stacked the box and forced LSU to throw the ball under pressure. The taters also wore out the LSU defense running so many plays and stretched their secondary throwing the ball all over. That's what we should have done. No way that LSU could throw the ball effectively in a tight game. But on the other hand, that was in the REAL Death Valley. Much harder to win there, as opposed to a neutral site.
