The Grope Thread

Man you are trying to open a can of worms. In my opinion the guy grabbing the girl's butts was a sexual assault in today's world. For it to be called some any type of sexual assault I think first you would have to show the Clemson players being gay. Otherwise I am thinking it would be looked at as some type of hazing situation and maybe some type of assault and battery. But I am not a lawyer and maybe doing that to a person of the same sex is consider sexual assault even if neither are gay.

But with all games being on camera today and viewed and reviewed, if a player is caught doing that to another play I think the NCAA should put a rule in that even if no flag is throw at the time, the player is suspended for the next game, if not longer, it was a cheap, classless act.

oh ffs. you are truly obsessed about this. no. nor do people get charged in football games with assault and battery for vicious tackles or for targeting. nor do porn stars get charged for sexually assaulting each other, even in rape fetish videos. if you step onto a football field, or inside a wrestling ring, you agree that you are setting aside your normal privileges against assault and battery.

Uh, no, I can't think of a single sport where grabbing one's testicles is consider part of the game, in combat sports it gets you DQed. You can expect some type injury, but have your testicles grabbed or someone trying to insert something in your anus.isn't an accepted risk of any sport or entertainment I ever heard of

Arkansas player got ejected for spiting on a VT Player. Presumably a Ref could call an unsportsman if he thought h saw groping and look at the replay If upheld he could eject the player.

Definitely! Taint grabs are extremely sexual. I found more sexual assault here too!! Better send it in to the cops!

Giving the business!

Nut Grabs

This is assault and battery with intent to kill.

Wow. An ad hominem attack. Never saw that coming. I'm answering the poster's question. Unless your link has something to do with black-letter law showing that Wilkins should be charged, it's absolutely irrelevant. And as far as whining goes, I'm not the snowflake who needs a safe space over some rough behavior during a football game.

The saddest part of all this is that it is obviously being taught and condoned by the staff but somehow the cult of Pickens County has not been really called out on it yet, their behavior is beyond disgusting and ridiculous.

Yet "ffs" you get emotionally challenged on an internet discussion board.

The initial question was straight up humor on my part - you're an upset
clembarrassed snowflake on your own!

¡Llévate al señor whiner, no te deseo más lágrimas!

The player said he did not feel it for the exact reason that Boulware and company do the fondling: the fragility of a developing person's manhood.

These are 17-20 year old men, it's a very trying time for them, the player is trying to save grace by claiming not to feel it otherwise hw ould have been in a fight. He obviousily felt it, we all know he did. This is why they do it, it adds another thing in a players mind to distract them from the game.

They do this with the intent for phychological abuse whether the players committing it fully understand it or not. And with another video coming out, how prevalent it is - is beginning to become really concerning.

You consent to certain types of activities when you play a sport, engage in a profession, or even agree to dance with someone, but you don't consent to all such activities. Yes, when you play football, you are agreeing to what otherwise would be assault as long as its on the field of play....however, that consent is not a carte blanche to any type of assault. Similar to dancing, you agree to be touched even held, but grab a woman in her private areas while dancing the police will inform you where that consent ends and you will be charged if she so desires. Same rule applies on the football field and players have been charged for going over the line.

It is...without a doubt. It happens and because of embarrassment and/or peer pressure, its not often reported, but it is sexual assault.

Referee just throw a flag on the player for giving him the business? Won't that handle it?

A person's orientation has no bearing on whether something is sexual assault/misconduct? How can you even think this is true?

I had read somewhere that he attended CU.

Google says he played football for them one year. Makes sense where he would have gotten the material for the squealing scene.

James Dickey was born to lawyer Eugene Dickey and Maibelle Swift in Atlanta, Georgia, where he attended North Fulton High School in Atlanta's Buckhead neighborhood. In 1942 he enrolled at Clemson Agricultural College of South Carolina and played on the football team as a tailback. After one semester, he left school to enlist.

He was a very interesting individual. I do not doubt for one moment the above about women knowing not to get on elevator alone with him.

It appears as if you are quite a justice warrior. I'm not sure why you weren't so vocal about ensuring that Chris lammons served jail time after he threw those viscious punches against the helpless Tennessee receiver. That was extremely dangerous and was at least assault and battery with intent to kill, but in some states would be tried as attempted murder. I'm assuming you would've wanted lammons punished, if you were approaching these cases as an unbiased observer, without an agenda, right?

You wish merely to be sure justice is served for a horrible taint grab hate crime, I'm sure. Keep fighting the good fight, everyone's listening. This is exactly what you need to make Clemson crumble. You just need to scream it from the skyscrapers in Columbia. Big time media like Wis 10 or the state are bound to pick up on the story and clamor for the whole team to have to register as sex offenders.

No balls are safe!

I'd say there's a better than average chance those "personal reasons" were not accepting how Clem doesn't see a specific body cavity as an exit only.

Look at the little puttytat trying to defend his ball fondling players. WIS? Try all over the sports networks...Fox, ESPN, etc.

lol nice meltdown.

if you dont understand the difference between punching someones helmet in frustration and shoving your finger into someone through thin athletic pants to humiliate them then idk maybe audit some social science classes at your local tech school?

also the coaches punished and reprimanded Lammon's actions yours are laughing it off - that is the big issue.

Who cares? It is just a peak under the hood of a football program that has always worked on the fringes of decent behavior. Glad to see them getting all this negative publicity.

Yeah it been terrible. The media has been camped out at the university all week. Marty smith and Danny kanell were even in town interviewing players this week. All the headlines coming out of Clemson are about everybodys taints. It's been the dominant topic of discussion.

But I mean it shouldnt be surprising the clemson faithful have been real quick to turn a blind eye to sexual and domestic abuse of women so why not men too?

I will echo Booger in saying a lot happened on the field, but never full on groping. If you're going to break the rules, and mess with the other team, it's all about inflicting pain, not pleasure. But, the only thing I'd really like to see is recruits realizing what a weird bunch of fockers they can be up there, and move on. Guarantee that won't happen though, weird or not, you're already spending the Hefty bag of cash you got

FFS? FFS from your BS. Get that deranged rationality out of here. You really need to look at some self reflection.

You really don't know what a social warrior is... trying to add some shock response to win the argument? If standing up to someone getting their genitals smashed on purpose to 'get in the head of an opponent' is something a social justice warrior would do... You really havea jaded perspective on life outside of Clempson/farms.

I'm not melting down, quite pleased with how things are going right now. If a message board riles someone up, or causes them to melt down they probably need to step away. I understand the dynamic though. There are idiots on tigernet who spew the exact same stuff you see here. It's the nature of a rivalry that the other team is dirtier, more classless, cheats more, coach doesn't discipline players, more thughish, and the fanbase has more rednecks.

You really are clueless if this is a rivalry thing. Absolutely clueless.

I never used the term social justice warrior. Feel free to insert whatever you want into my sentences though.

It seems to be on two guys. BOULWARE and Wilkens and I believe Boulware is the guy that started it all. He's a crazy kind of guy anyway. Did you guys see what he wore at the ACC media day?
And he has always been gross on his Twitter page. Just a weird dude.
But can you imagine Zach Bailey charging him with that???? Bailey would never live that down in the macho world he lives in.
As for me...this is over and done. Clemson has been beat up pretty good over this childish ass-grabbing and was well deserved.
