Sha'carri Richardson, the lady that blew away the field in the 100m is banned for a month for testing positive for marijuana. My question is, why would the US anti-doping agency test for that? It provides no benefits to an athlete's performance. Seems like a stupid rule.

You train for years and years to get ready to compete in the olympics - something that only comes around once every 4yrs. Some (many?) only qualify once, making it a once-in-a-lifetime thing....... and you can't put the weed down for long enough to compete. What a shame.
