Won the first 22 games in 2000.
I'm still bitter about that year. We were the best team in the country. That team was THRILLING to watch.
Was that the year of the Killer Bees? Everyone thought that was going to be the year we won it all, including myself.
I know the number for consecutive strikes was broke this year by a freshman pitcher ( I think). Can't remember his name. I'm still learning this team. Hope we break multiple records!

I am trying to keep perspective but I am also going to hold on to the undefeated tag every chance I can. I know it can’t last because that by definition is baseball. But I certainly like having it around. That said, after we play a few conference series & see what is what, I will ponder what could be(“carefully “), I am committed to enjoying these wins because I feel like we have been walking through a desert the past year Except for Dawn & co.
2000 team had 7 weekend sec sweeps and 56-10 record and held #1 spot most of the season and should have won it all and might have been our best team ever.
2000 was the best team Carolina has had, but rarely does the best team in college baseball in the regular season win it all
