After the last game, what would you anticipate? Like the last year of Horn, no one wanted to see that show.Check out sec network. Appears to be zero in the upper bowl.
The product on the court matters. The glare from Martin's head isn't helping either.Check out sec network. Appears to be zero in the upper bowl.
I know it's sarcasm but one clause is 20 games too early and the other clause will never exist here.Frank's Back on the Track;

This one game can't...the loss, especially by 12+ with the NET, is going to mean USC better beat FSU or they're going to have to win an extra SEC regular season game or 2 in the tournament.Georgetown is not the same program, they have been horrible the past few years and this years team is especially bad. Good win but doesn't cancel out that 24 point coastal loss.
Did frank belittle the fans for not showing up in his post game presser? He has quite the history of this.There is no excitement around this program. Frank and the have to win back the fans with their effort and performance…I’m not optimistic.
Since the Corner our Frank has Turned;I know it's sarcasm but one clause is 20 games too early and the other clause will never exist here.
You're right. The crowd actually wasn't too bad for Sunday pre-SEC but that was probably more because it was Georgetown. There were a surprising number of Georgetown fans there. They have two kids from Columbia but still more than I would have expected sitting in locations other than behind the Georgetown bench.We can blame it on Frank, the Coastal loss, etc….but the truth of the matter is we never draw a good crowd in games prior to January. We’ve given away tickets to Gamecock Club members for the Clemson game at home in the past….and that was when we were really good.
Students are cramming for exams this week, Sundays are horrible for the out of town crowd and in general no one is going to notice we are even playing prior to January.
I agree but not completely surprised. They became a national brand in the 80s. Like you said they had some local boys too and that always brings out a few more.You're right. Exams? Really? Try againWe can blame it on Frank, the Coastal loss, etc….but the truth of the matter is we never draw a good crowd in games prior to January. We’ve given away tickets to Gamecock Club members for the Clemson game at home in the past….and that was when we were really good.

Stay away only then changes will be madeWe lost by 24 to Coastal. Not much to be excited about. Still think this team can be good though.

You're making entirely too much sense. Isn't it easier just to blame it all on Tanner?We can blame it on Frank, the Coastal loss, etc….but the truth of the matter is we never draw a good crowd in games prior to January. It may not have been for you, but that doesn’t mean it doesn’t keep students away.Exams? Really? Try again
Playing the Clemson game before exams when students are actually still on campus would be nice. Hell, schedule them as a mid-season OOC game.It may not have been for you, but that doesn’t mean it doesn’t keep students away.
That’s the problem with all of FM’s teams: INCONSISTENCYGood game today. Frank actually coached instead of just knee-jerk pulling guys from the game. He had a rotation and stuck with it. Still yelled, which is fine, but let them work through mistakes.
Also, stuck to the game plan. Georgetown had some nice size instead but a little young and raw. Our bigs played much better over-all game-to-game and better as the game went on. Still a bit of street ball sloppiness but it worked itself out (Georgetown tried to speed us up). Also, actually exploited the zone instead of becoming check and duck.
I just hope the life lesson game earlier this week doesn't kill us in the end.
1000 Likes. Shouldn't schedule a game on Sunday in December.I'm so tired of this attendance talk. We had 9k there for the game Sunday. Guess what Duke's freaking place only holds 9k, so we literally had just as many as every Duke home game has. Look at what both the men's and women's teams average attendance is compared to the rest of the country over the last 20 years. We do fine w attendance.
Speaking of Sunday games, does anyone remember when the Gamecocks played on the very first college basketball Sunday game? It was televised — believe it was against Marquette.1000 Likes. Shouldn't schedule a game on Sunday in December.
