Thanks for posting. You seem to feel the same as I do.

I'm behind Chad. And he'll be back next year no matter how much anyone whines on this board about this team and this season. I'm convinced that most of the angst posted around here comes from message board fans that not only spend too much time on this board but on rival boards too, and it pains them that they have nothing to brag about or stir the pot with opponents over.

Regardless, I'm behind CH. What he needs to do for starters is get rid of Tanners guys and build his own staff. I honestly believe he's a great coach and think he'll turn this thing around and get it back on track.
"he'll turn this thing around".....that IS the problem. Our baseball program did not need to be "turned around." It was fine...he ALREADY turned it around...exactly 180 degrees from where it was.

Perhaps Holbrook learns a lot from his first sub-par season. Let's hope so.

I admire your admiration... And loyalty to Holbrook, but I've gotta ask... Is this a joke?

Knows more? I've only been watching baseball for 50 years so that may not fit your definition of "knowing more," but I will admit that I have never tried to recruit college athletes

This thread is quite amusing. It started off like:

Moved to:

And has now become:

Fairweather fans don't switch teams, those are "bandwagon" fans. Fairweather fans just lose interest when their team is bad which is what most fans do. It really annoys me when there are complaints about "fairweather" fans. No one is complained about all the fair weather fans that showed up for the Women's Basketball team this year that gave us the national leader in home attendance. Where were they all the other years? Complaining about "fairweather fans" just makes you a fan critic of the fairweather vareity.

I see both as the same. You are either a fan or not. Choosing to when it's convenient is no different in my eyes.

I understand it comes down to wins and loses,I understand, the point I am making is that it is only one season, don't be so fair weather, show your support no matter what, and show support for the coaches that are leading our respective programs!!
WOW!!! You really need to get a grip on yourself!!! Your comments sound like they're from a 13 year old girl wanting a longer curfew........coaching IS a JOB and a BUSINESS not a popularity contest.

There was an idiot tater named Badhabit that got banned from Palmetto State Rivals. He was dumb as dirt. Couldn't spell or write a complete sentence. He also tended to use a lot of exclamation points. I may be 100% wrong but it looks like he's over here having some fun. His join date here coincides with his ban date on the other board.

Who in here knows mor?? I want to know, this is insane how yall are acting like a kid that didn't get picked to play Kickball, he is not a great Gameday coach, but who says that he won't be ever?? I dare anybody in this room to call out Holbrook on his call in show,I dare ya,ya won't do it!! This man is giving his all,we wouldn't be were we are without him,he was a big part of our success,I am telling yall to leave this man alone, and let him do his job,I dare somebody to talk anymore about Holbrook!! This man is a class act, he works hard, just having a down season get over it!!

You can cry and moan all that you want but Holbrook will not be the coach at SC in 3 yrs.

Because of supercock type adoration it is going to take another Darrin Horn-like meltdown over the next two seasons. Hopefully, the past success of the baseball program will allow a quicker turnaround than the basketball program. Unless, of course, the supercock boosters get really mad at the fans again and pull a Greg Marshall type move in hiring the next baseball coach.

It is going to be tough to endure a 15-36 type season.

I know it's better to score more runs than your opponent. Not sure Holbrook has picked up on that yet.

I am glad that all yall want a man to fail that works incredibly hard for us,I am not happy with this season either, but also understand it is only one season,it is good to know a lot of yall want Holbrook to be unemployed after the season!!

Holbrook will get it back on track!! I can't wait to see all ya haters start to support Holbrook!!!!!!!!!!!
You are as dumb as dirt. There are no haters here. Just because someone says that he is not the man for the job does not mean anyone hates him. Everyone had high hopes and everyone thought this was a no-brainer when he was hired. It didn't turn out that way. If a man fails and people want to see someone else take over the program it does not mean it's because they hate him. Everyone here wanted him to succeed and surpass what any other South Carolina baseball coach did. He hasn't measured up so the frustrations are valid. You have ran around and insulted everyone on this board that disagreed with you. In that sense you are the worse fan here. I would think calling fans names would qualify you as a much less fan than anyone else on this board. You should take some of you own advice and shut up. You are not respected by doing what you are doing.

Listen Mr know it all,I think it is disrespectful to disagree with me because I want everybody to get off his back, because he is having a down season

Who on here knows more about football than Brad Scott?

You are your record.

Let me start by expressing my dislike for BS but....probably not many here that actually know more about football. Like him or not, he did make a pretty good living with his knowledge. Piss poor head coach but that is not what you asked.
