It's not only absurd, it's very dangerous for fans and players. I'd expect this all-in-rush-to the field after the game's over if it's a small college we're talking about OR if this was 1965, but the Clemmies are NUTS to allow this practice to continue. I think Wofford, PC, and Newberry still do the go-to-the-field thing, but I'm not so sure that Citadel and Furman allow this lawsuit-in-waiting.on their football fields.

That would have been in 1967. I was up there and saw a Ken Stabler-led Bama team beat UPC 13-10 (I believe it was.).
