You really need to dig into policy for this election.
If the Republicans win, this isn't handing over the same baton that the two parties pass back and forth.
Musk has stated one of his primary objectives in the cabinet will be to get education costs for all down to peanuts.
This is far different than someone like Harris who will forgive student debt before her election so that University can continue to raise prices and gouge a limited amount of fortunate who are able to obtain a higher education.
In addition, economic policy will be geared to wind down the debt this time with some honestly brilliant ideas which came from the Kennedy camp originally.
This should help flatten inflation.
Trump has also promised a new home buyers plan to cut rates better than half. This is far better than offering a $25K credit which only increases inflation and incentivizes sellers to raise home prices. Not to mention, the savings is in exponentials versus the handout over time.
1) How does musk plan to lower the cost of higher education? Even with that dubious plan, it doesn’t fix the problem for the people who have already taken out the debt for college.
2) How will lowering interests rates not have the same inflationary effect on home prices that the $25k credit will have? We literally just watched lower rates raise home prices the past few years.
