It’s a platform where people can pay a little bit of money to play Madden or other online games against celebrities, players, etc. Those 5000 kids won’t make a ton of money but it gives them an opportunity to cash in a bit.

The 6-figure deals will make headlines, but if you want an idea of why NIL can be a really good thing, look for the deals involving small school athletes and local businesses.

Going after guys with no other power 5 offers. I get it I don’t have to be told that there’s always diamonds in the rough. But in this day and age everybody seems to know more and more about everybody I would assume less and less slip through the cracks. I don’t wanna throw any shade on the kid that we just got today but on paper it sure looks like another one that is just an easy kid to get to commit. We have unbelievable facilities and sooo much to sell. if I’ve got letters in the mail from Charlotte Richmond and South Carolina then my choice is easily made. With that said there are still some nice players in this class and I’m keeping faith that as this staff gets a foothold in their recruiting base and has more time to build relationships then more difference makers are added top to bottom.

Dakereon posted on Twitter a new email address to send inquiries. I hope that some fellow Gamecocks take him up on it. I'm so impressed with the way he has stayed here to help in any way possible and not transferred. I'm hoping this will be a breakout season for him.

Why is it that when Shane Beamer tweets out #WelcomeHome, we don't really have any idea who committed? I mean, this is supposed to be an insiders site yet I feel like I'm not getting much inside info. Now I totally understand that the writers/analysts here aren't trying to ruin the moment for the guys announcing, but we've got no hints, no futurecasts, no projections, no nothing. The only one that could have been inferred was Anthony Rose with "welcome back home" in the tweet. Do we even have an idea of who the remaining three "silent" commits are or when they'll go public
