I’ve made my stance known for a long time that I think the Gamecocks complete the flip. I won’t be wavering on that this morning.

I have spoke on it before and I'll say it again. If we can't recruit better than we are we will never be competitive consistently. Luck and special teams only go so far. Offensive scheme helps alot Tennessee, OleMiss, & Mississippi State good examples. But talent is the true gap closer. Florida currently has 3 times as many 4 stars committed. South Carolina has to come up with a way to sell the school besides my coach is "genuine". I love what Beamer has done so far and nobody is upset with his 1st coaching hires. Satterfield was a bust and nothing about this new guy is inspiring alot of excitement. I will wait and see how the next few months play out with recruitment. But if we can't sign a top 15 class with transfer portal. We will continue to decline. Just think if Spencer Rattler doesn't come back or Antwan Wells for next year and we barely finish with a top 25 class in recruiting with minimal 4 & 5 star players (which are usually able to contribute year one), do you really believe with this new coordinator that we could even match this year's win total? I doubt it. It will be another 5-7 to 6-6 forecast for next year. We just can't afford to take steps back every 2 years. I'm a Gamecock lifer and I hope Beamer can pull it off, but I will be extremely disappointed with anything less than top 15 recruiting class this year especially if we beat ND.

So many seem to not know this. The Power 5 and Notre Dame guarantee scholarships for 4 years. The players and activists demanded this and got it in 2015. They demanded that schools and teams (and tax payers who fund public universities) make a 4 year 4 seasons commitment to them. And they (we) did.

Running back Djay Braswell signed with South Carolina. Coach Loggains will be dreaming up plays to get the ball to Braswell.

I’m especially liking the Hybrd TE from Arky. Hopefully he’s as good a JB - I think he will be.

Big OT And DT is well needed and the Texas TE looks solid. Top TE in Texas. There are a few more TE that look good.

We did tell you folks earlier in the process that it might be a little touch-and-go with his academic situation, and our latest sources are telling Gamecock Scoop that Hardy could be a potential sign and place if he can't get cleared. We will keep you updated as those plans become more apparent.
