Good Show! Rather than spew hatred, allow us to tip our collective hat to ODU.

Over the years we have had some nice looking football uniforms. These all garnet uniforms with the flat black helmets look like crap. So do the all black uniforms. The ones in the 80's ('84) were my favorites.

This is LONG- LONG overdue. Leaders in the City of Columbia, athletic department and DOT should have remedied this a long time ago.

South Assembly Street near Rosewood Dr. and that area looks pathetic and has for years.


State Rep. Seth Rose, D-Richland, previously called the lack of sidewalks around the stadium “embarrassing,” and said the appearance of the roads around the fairgrounds and Williams-Brice don’t help Columbia put its best foot forward for visitors.

“It’s just embarrassing,” Rose said in a November interview with The State. “You go to a game and people are walking in the street. We don’t have sidewalks around the state fairgrounds. … I live here, I have children here, and there are things that just bother me.”

Hhmmm, that cupcake may not be as enjoyable as hoped.

I have seen so many of the people on here with so many negative comments, most of them will probably not even be at the game.
I really hope they manage close to sell out numbers. It does not matter what you think about the coach, you should still support your team and come show it.
Personally, I see a big win coming this game. I understand, ODU is not much, but we still get to see our guys out there in full pads doing all they can to win the game. I feel the lead will be so big that they will sit Sellers and let Ashford play some.

Final was 2-2. I bounced in and out of the game. We should have won but frankly at the end we just seemed to hope to not lose. Just my opinion. clemmy was diving a lot today.

Well, QB runs everything so you've got to be excited to see Lanorris and the future of the Gamecocks at QB. I'll go Kyle Kinnard at edge, he just looks the part and I think a big part of our D's problem last year was no edge rush and containment, close second is Dylan Stewart.

In the first game? I think 6 on offense and 4/5 on defense? Probably about average for most teams.
